Ferliah with help of her brother and his friend sifuri was going to go ahead and take a few of her tokotas through the next step on the way to reproducing which would be going to be a big deal for her. The three of them were gathering the necessary    Provisions for the long and testing trip that they would be doing. They were packing food, fire cubes to start fire faster, wood to lit on fire but also warm pelts to lay on as the snow made it cold. They were thinking through everything to make sure they could last the five long days in the wildernes of Tokotna. But the three of them were confident that they would manage to get through to the other side.  
Emmet Ferliahs brother walked outside to take in Marv as he takes the longest to gear up as the Tokota always search for shiny stuff to steal. Most would compare the tokota's personality of a Raven. He saddled the the marked greying brown Tokota pith pangare and accents. The blue eyes of the Tokota was on the look out for shiny items. Though when ever Emmet saw  the searching eyes of the Tokota he instantly righted the Tokota to stop looking and stay still. Ferliah walked out to grab Boomer a fairly nice behaved marked tundra Tokota with accents. Boomers ice blue eyes looked at Marv as he entered the room beside Ferliah. She put the saddle on the tokotas back she made sure that saddle were on tight but not too tight. She then placed some of the provisions on his back leaving enough space for her to sit on. Last in was Luna a piebald marked tawny with blanket accents and pangare the shy Tokota followed her handler Sifuri that she had bonded with recently. Sifuri gently saddled her and put the rest of the provisions on her back.  
After several preparations they headed out to the wilderness of Tokotna they were going to go a far distance and see so many new things. The three handlers mounted the three tokotas and then started their long journey. They traveled through the landscape. The trees around them had started to grow new leaves and it was not hard to see that the spring was close upon them. They could hear the tweeting of birds who returned back from their integration. The forest had started to come back to life slowly but steady. There were poodles here and there from the melted snow. Though in the shadows of trees and rocks snow could still be found. It was early morning so the air was cold with a him heavy mist following the ground as the frost from the night was evaporating from the warm sun rays. The group made their way through the calm forest. Boomer along with Ferliah was taking the lead as Boomer was a more calm and collected Tokota than the other two. As one of them only seemed to be interested of shiny things and the was really shy. Emmet who was sitting on Marv looked into the forest.  
Watching it quietly from the back of Marv. "When the fog lifts we could go abit faster."  Emmet suggested to his sister. "I guess we could do that. Getting a small head start wouldn't be bad" she said agreeing with her brother who was located behind her. Sifuri was quiet on the back of Luna. He was admiring the beautiful forest that was surrounding the small group. As they ventured further into the forest the fog slowly lifted allowing them to pick up the pass abit. They were heading to the first check points so they could head to the next following the trail they were showed on a map before they had headed out. Their guidance was the large snow coated mountain that they were heading towards. (649 ord)


The tokotas was enjoying prancing through the forest. The scenery and the company. Everything was at its best. But the best always needs an end. As the sun was about the group took shelter by some rocks that would give them some cover for the cold night winds. Ferliah was making a fire while Emmet and Sifuri were bedding for a nights sleep. The three tokotas was watching laying on the ground next to each other. As the fire got started they began eating some of the food that they brought with them. The three handlers were talking to each other sharing stories and laughed together before the night would claim their senses for the night. The respective handler to each of the Tokota slept beside it. Like Ferliah next to Boomer, Emmet next to Marv and Sifuri next to Luna.  The next day when the sun arose the ate breakfast and packed their stuff and headed out once more. As the day before there was a heavy fog making it risk full to run with the Tokotas so they stayed at a walking past instead until the most would lift once more. They could hear the forest slowly waking up around them as they continued their journey. As they got closer to the great mountain the forest became thinner as less trees grew at the foot of the mountain. By the Montaigne they found ther next mark would point them to the right way through a passage through the mountain. It was dark in the mountin but they lit their way through with a burning torch each. The handlers looked at the walls in awe as they saw the old paintings on the mountain wall. The painting told about the old ages and what the tokotas and humans relation ship was. Back then tokotas were fearse creatures, described as murderes it was amazing how human and tokotas relationship had evolved from such old times. The tokotas was looking as well curious of what it was on the wall. The group stayed for a while watching the old history before they would move on. They walked through the various tunnels in the mountain. It felt like if they had been walking for eves. There were ice inside showing that water had been able to make its way in and freeze.  It was rather cold inside but the torches gave them some warmth to spare. The group stayed quiet while walking through the tunnels. The marks was more frequent than before to make sure that no one would get lost in there. Boomer was looking around abit curious of this place that they were in. Marv on the other hand was looking for shiny stuff as he knew that the fire made it easier for him to find them even if it would only be some useless candy wrappers they were still shiny.  
After a while his eyes would locate something shiny making him run towards it with emmet on top of him trying to stop the big childish Tokota. Ferliah turned back helping her brother while Sifuri stayed behind to make sure that they wouldn't get lost.  When emmet Ferliah returned Sifuri would see Marv holding a silver spoon that someone probably dropped at some point. Emmet seemed to be annoyed at Marv as he was cursing alittle while Marv just waved his tail in satisfaction as he now had a new item to his collection even if he already like 30 other spoons in the pile. Sifuri couldn't help but laugh alittle seeing Marv with a tiny spoon stick out from him closed maw. They then continued on their way back. Luna who had Sifuri on her back had behaved nicely the entire trip so far.  
And so had Boomer for that matter. When they reached the end of all the various tunnel it was already dark outside. They with that decided that they would start up a fire there and settle down for the night. The group stayed up for a while watching the stars together. Pointing out different constelation on the dark sky above then. They also shared some stories that they knew about. They all had a nice time until they fell asleep next to their tokotas. While Luna and Marv was sleeping Boomer were guarding the group for a while until he too fell asleep next to his handler. And the fire wBoomerg them slowly died out making the surrounding around them get dark with only the moon shining down on them.  


The next morning Luna had woken up early. She was quietly watching their surroundings which were the foot of the mountain and the beginning of the forest surrounding them. The birds was happily tweeting as the land was slowly getting warmer welcoming the sleeping animals to wake up from their hibernation over the winter.  Other than the tweeting of the birds the forest was quiet and calm. It was a relaxing place and as there were no fog this morning the sun could warm the sleeping and the resting.  
The others woke up one by one letting out yawns as they did so. As Luna heard her handler wake up she started to wave her raid alittle. Sifuri gently petted her side with a smile on his face. As the whole group now we're awake they started to eat breakfast before they would continue on their way. When everything was packed they all headed out and without the fog they could travel in a faster pase they was following the marked out checkpoints that was placed out so no one would get lost on the long travel. The tokotas was enjoying themselves as they felt like they were getting closer to each other as friends. And they all was exited for what more was to come on this journey. Would they se a bear? Or would they see a heard of carabo grazing in the meadow or perhaps the rabbits and foxes. They were traveling through the forest with Boomer taking the lead and Luna and Marv next to each other following Boomer. The handlers was talking to each other as they rode through the forest. The fur and hair slowing through the wind as the tokotas was running. They knew that they was almost finished with the long trip. And with two days to spare so they knew that they weren't in a hurry wich made everything more relaxing and fun now. They all was thinking of taking a break in a meadow that they could see just ahead. All of them agreed and they took a small snack break. They could see birds sitting in the trees tweeting and they could see a few animals passing through. It was truly a relaxing place to take a break on. After a while the group desired that it was time to move on. Tokotas let their handlers get up on the saddles and the group started off again  they was running again but took it easy. It wouldn't hurt to sleep one night more after all. After a while the running turned to walking. They watched the sun slowly go down and they decided to sleep one night out more and then head to the finish line the next day instead. Ferliah Emmet and Sifuri made up a fire to get some warmth. They all were having fun talking to each other and then talked about what happened to Emmet when Marv found that spoon. The three handlers were laughing while the three tokotas was resting. The darkness of night slowly fell upon his the six individuals that was sleeping now with their minds wandering in the land of the dreams. The next morning after that the whole group had woken up they all headed towards their destination happy that they were almost finished with this long trip  the tokotas was walking through the forest wBoomerg their muscles before they took off in a run  after running for a while they could she the oh so longed for finish line. It felt so good every one of them to cross that line that told them that they were done and yet a other test finished. They were greeted by people with happy smiles on their faces as they congratulated the six of them. After a while the group headed home to relax. They all was abit tired from the day so it ended up with all often falling asleep on the floor of their stable. The other tokotas who lived there seemed happy that they were back
